I just saw the most beautiful thing
prelude: the trees around the university in spring release this pollen stuff into my nose and makes me sneeze every time it's windy and I go for coffee.
A medium size branch broke loose from a tree above me as I walked the green archway of leaves. As it fell I noticed on the branch about ten of those spiky fruit things that are not really fruit.
It smashed to the ground, and one thousand seeds were set free and wisped across the footpath to (try their best) settle themselves and begin life somewhere else.
In this simple sight
I was reminded of my creator
and of the little things
and that even when you are stressed it is actually still all ok.
